Two gray tabby kittens named Capybara and Blue need a home together in Walnut Creek.
The 12-week-old brothers are the latest featured pets from Community Concern for Cats (CC4C), a Walnut Creek-based rescue highlighted in the East Bay Times' pets of the week column published Sept. 28. CC4C described the pair as confident, playful and snuggly. The kittens were raised in a foster home with adult cats, dogs and five children, and the rescue said they are well socialized. They must be adopted together.
Residents interested in meeting them can contact LouAnne, a CC4C contact, at 925-683-0357.
CC4C holds adoption events at three locations each week, according to the group's adoption page:
- 1250 Newell Ave., Unit H, Walnut Creek — Fridays 4–7 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 1–4 p.m.
- Pet Food Express, 1388 S. California Blvd., Walnut Creek — Saturdays 1–4 p.m.
- Pet Food Express, 500 Center Ave., Martinez — Saturdays 2–4 p.m. (except the third Saturday of the month)
CC4C is also running a 2027 Calendar Cat Photo Contest, which began Sept. 14. Details are on CC4C's website.
